PARAMOUNT EQUITY HITS A HOME RUN WITH YOUTH SPORTS
Paramount Equity Supports the Positive Coaching Alliance
(ROSEVILLE, Calif.) - This February, Paramount Equity presented a cash donation to Bill Herenda, Executive Director of the Sacramento chapter of Positive Coaching Alliance. "Sports offer kids a healthy outlet, and helps develop our children both physically and mentally. We were happy to assist the PCA in providing the tools necessary for coaches to make big impacts on these young lives", said Hayes Barnard, president of Paramount Equity. Paramount Equity Mortgage raised the funds for this charity during the month of February by donating $50 from every loan closed in the Sacramento branches.
The funds raised will help the PCA ensure that athletics in this community are a positive character building experience for our youth. “PCA Sacramento is extremely fortunate and appreciative to have the corporate support of Paramount Equity. Hayes’s passion, support and commitment to PCA ensures that youth athletes, throughout the Sacramento region, are benefitting from valuable lessons learned on the playing field for the rest of their lives.”

PCA was founded 12 years ago at Stanford University and conducts workshops for coaches, parents and student athletes. The PCA works with local coaches and children to reinforce the life lessons sports teaches and enables the next generation to be successful in all phases of life. Specific workshops include:
•"Double-Goal Coaches", whose first goal is winning and whose second (and more-important) goal is to teach life lessons through sports.
•"Second-Goal Parents", who focus on life lessons through sports.
•"Triple-Impact Competitors", who work to improve themselves, their teammates, and their sport as a whole.
