OVERVIEW:
Paramount Energy Solutions (PES) provides photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, solar financing and solar leasing solutions to residential homeowners looking to save money on their utility bills while making a positive impact on our environment. We offer one-of-a-kind solar technologies and proprietary solar leasing and financing alternatives that allow you to position and sell the benefits to a large customer base.
PES is looking for energetic, motivated and experienced inside sales professionals to join our solar team (previous solar sales experience preferred, but not required). Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop relationships and close deals via company-provided leads (75%) as well through your own, self-generated opportunities (25%)
- Make an average of 60 outbound sales calls (dials) per week to perspective customers to generate curiosity in our various lines of business and qualify prospects through the use of consultative, value-based selling methods
- Provide oversight and accountability for all aspects of the sales process including: making initial client contact; analyze and determine client product needs; generate and deliver sales proposals over-the-phone; deliver and execute final contracts; manage additional client needs up to final interconnectivity with our installation partner, SolarCity®
- Effectively use our technology-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Salesforce.com) for lead follow-up, sales cycle disposition, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking and keep comprehensive and accurate notes in the system
- Introduce the company’s additional lines of business (mortgage, insurance, etc.) and be compensated for all closed transactions that you helped initiate for other company salespeople.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven sales prospecting, negotiation and closing experience
- Prior telesales experience preferred (must not be afraid to make lots of outbound calls!)
- Ability to close at least 2 solar deals a month through your own, self-generated efforts
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with state and local energy and public utilities and their solar processes a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Salesforce.com/CRM, MS Project and Google SketchUp experience a plus)
- Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented (must love to sell!)
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and attire
- Ability to work mainly in an office Monday through Friday up until 7:00 pm or later if needed
