OVERVIEW:
Paramount Solar (PS) provides photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, solar financing and solar leasing solutions to residential homeowners looking to save money on their utility bills while making a positive impact on our environment. As a certified partner and channel reseller for SolarCity®, the #1 residential solar provider in the country, we offer one-of-a-kind, solar technologies and proprietary solar leasing and financing alternatives that allow us to position and sell the benefits to a large customer base.
PES is looking for an experienced sales manager within the solar or a related industry that has the ability to build their own sales team very quickly to sell and close residential PV solar systems. This senior-level individual will handle all aspects of the sales process and staff management within a designated branch of Paramount Solar. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Recruit and build a world class inside sales team
- Meet sales goals and budgets by continuously monitoring sales reports and operational records to ensure revenue and profitability goals are met
- Provide corporate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and bookings
- Ensure the company maintains a positive customer experience throughout the sales process; continually improving the customer qualification process, meeting customer requirements and providing “customer- focused” solutions
- Ensure customer proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements are processed timely and professionally
- Plan and execute all inside sales activities to meet specific metrics and develop new markets for business growth
- Plan and direct inside sales team, training, and performance management to develop the team’s capabilities and enhance careers
- Work with corporate support departments to coordinate and ensure internal processes are optimized to support inside sales results

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of inside sales management experience preferably in a residential solar or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Salesforce.com or CRM, MS Project and Google SketchUp experience preferred
- Familiarity with state and local energy and public utilities and their solar processes
- Well-connected (networked) within the green and clean technology industries (SARTA, etc.)
- Ability to successfully recruit, hire, develop and coach sales representatives
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
- Professional demeanor and attire
- Ability to work mainly in an office Monday through Friday up until 7:00 pm or later if needed
