OVERVIEW:

The Legacy Team Lead’s primary responsibility, as with all Legacy Account Managers, is to call on new and existing mortgage, insurance and solar customers to initiate the sales process; obtain and manage prospects lists; and generate qualified leads that will be passed on to senior salespeople in the company for follow-up and eventual closure. In addition to their individual sales production requirements, the Legacy Team Lead will also be responsible for training and mentoring new Legacy Account Managers to maximize efforts and drive revenue in assigned territories. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

TEAM LEAD/MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

  • Drive a 15% or greater lead-to-close ratio for the core and web business managed by the team
  • Measure the teams effectiveness on a regular basis (daily, weekly and monthly)
  • Identify and streamline all Legacy sales and communication processes
  • Ensure proper alignment and coverage of all target markets
  • Administer Salesforce.com reports; edit records; assist in maintaining the integrity of the company database
  • Qualify and interview appropriate candidates for available job opportunities
  • Manage the integration of new Legacy Account Managers and ensure consistency with the on boarding process
  • Train, motivate, retain current and new Legacy Account Managers
  • Ensuring that all of clients are 100% satisfied with every stage of the experience

INDIVIDUAL SALES EXPECTATIONS:

  • Make an average of 30 outbound sales calls (dials) per day to perspective customers to generate curiosity in our various lines of business and qualify prospects through the use of consultative, value-based selling methods
  • Acquire leads through prospecting lists in assigned territories, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and incoming web and phone inquiries
  • Utilize effective sales skills to attain 100% of assigned goals
  • Effectively use our technology-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Salesforce.com) for lead follow-up, sales cycle disposition, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking and keep comprehensive and accurate notes in the system
  • Secure appointments with qualified leads for the designated sales staffs
  • Manage pipelines in multiple sales channels (mortgage, insurance, credit repair, solar, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years experience as a Sales Manager or a Team Leader in a Call Center environment
    • Prior telesales experience with financial products (i.e. mortgage, insurance, etc.) a plus
  • 4 years of proven sales prospecting, negotiation and closing experience
    • Ability to generate at least 2 qualified leads everyday through various prospecting efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Salesforce.com or other CRM experience a plus)
  • Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented (must love to sell!)
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
